THANKSGIVING PRAYERS
For family to love and be loved by;
for friends and other persons you gifted us with;
for each morning we see the light of day;
for a restful sleep under a shelter;
for food to feed our sagging bodies;
for the privilege of serving you;
for your presence in our lives;
but most of all,
for the manna of your flesh to nourish souls,
we thank You, Lord.
May we be worthy of all this, Your love. Amen

Let us now sit down to eat
with all those who haven't eaten.
Let us spread great tablecloths,
put salt in the lakes of the world,
set up planetary bakeries,
table with strawberries in snow,
and a plate like the moon itself
from which we will eat.
